The week started with a look at some of the cars in the paddock at the Dick Mayo Sprint at which I was marshaling. James Spear driving the Lotus 2-Eleven above came third in class.
The day following the Dick Mayo Sprint I went Lotus Hunting at Prescott and found not only several examples of the cars I was looking for but also this rare GSM Delta belonging to Clive Scott who's father played a large part in manufacturing the car.
Wednesday's Continental Curiosity featured the highly strung Fiat 600D that once belonged to sprinter and hillclimber David Render. Follow this link to find out about it's unusual motor and how it found it's way into the car.
Americana Thursday's blog featured this '72 Dodge Dart Swinger which the original owner found difficult to park much to the detriment of the rear quarter panel.
The FIAT Dino Spyder featured on Ferrari Friday was part of a plan to help Enzo Ferrari race in the second tier open wheel Formula 2 in 1966.

Yesterdays blog was all about how sometime Formula One racer Ertl fitted a TOJ sports car with a 600hp Zakspeed Motor and covered it with a Lotus Europa body and went racing with it in various Group 5 series.
Today's blog return's to Castle Combe for the Bristol Motor Clubs Family Day. Above is the Nova of Mick Poat which was won the public vote for Best Car of the day.
